Vintage Danish Herman A. Kähler hand-decorated candleholders

A lovely pair of intricately glazed ceramic candleholders by the well-regarded Danish pottery studio, Herman August Kähler Pottery, which operated from the 1800s until the mid-1970s. The candleholders are glazed in cream with black details and a marbled pattern of dark blue and dark red. Each is signed with Kähler's stylized "HAK" and stamped "DENMARK".

Each candleholder is 3.25" in diameter and 1" tall. Sold as a pair.

In very good vintage condition and mostly unscathed by time, save for one very small flake off the glaze on the inner lip of one candleholder, which can be seen only on close examination. This is a vintage, previously owned set of candle holders. Therefore, light wear can be expected.
